Open source is something that is very important to us. We believe not only should software be free as in price but also free as in freedom.
The biggest hurdle to people adopting free software like Ubuntu, or inkscape, blender, gimp etc is they feel that the software is free, thus must be inferior. So I've started a thread on the forum called Open source art where we aim to prove that not only is open and free software equal to proprietary software, it is superior in many ways.
